A Sydney woman has helped her family get into the property market, recently purchasing a Wyee acreage for a street record $1.2 million.

According to agent Josh Horner of The Property Market, the buyer was helping her daughter and son, who were having trouble getting a loan with the tight lending restrictions from the banks.

“The family will keep it as an investment property for a bit, then they’ll move in permanently. They were imagining Christmas at the place, which is so roomy – it was lovely.”

The 1ha country estate at 92 Webber Rd included a stand out pool with waterfall.

“The property had a real country feel and was really nicely placed on the block, surrounded in trees. Even though there were other houses around, there was a remoteness about it,” Mr Horner said.

The sale was one of the top sales for the suburb and beat the previous record at 101 Webber Rd by $20,000.

Mr Horner, who is an ex Broadway star, has become well known for his ‘sold’ dances, and was excited to film his first million dollar plus sale.
